Hi, I'm really sorry to disturb, but I was checking out styles today, and I was wondering if it was ok if I ported your component style over from LJ to insanejournal? Credit will be given, and ownership will still be yours; all I hope to do is to put the style over at IJ so that users there will be able to use the style as well.

Thanks for asking first. However, the style isn't actually mine. While I created it, I was paid to do so by Danga Interactive (now owned by six apart). So the style is actually theirs, and last I knew, it was part of their proprietary code, and not licensed for others to use.
